Clinical Social Work Internship
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles offers a captive social work internship to students within the USC School of Social Work. Internship slots are for second year students within the Mental Health Center in the USC UCEDD (University Center for Excellence Developmental Disabilities). This internship offers second year students from the USC SW’s Mental Health, Child and Family and Health concentrations a unique opportunity to experience therapy in interdisciplinary community and pediatric health care settings. The internship is designed to prepare master’s level social work (MSW) students to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams while learning a variety of mental health interventions to expand and enhance their clinical expertise.

Interns
This internship offers second year students from the University of Southern California School of Social Work’s Mental Health, Child and Family and Health concentrations a unique opportunity to experience therapy in interdisciplinary community and pediatric health care settings.
Funding
Scholarships are provided to the USC School of Social Work in the amount of $5,000 for each student participating and completing an 8-month placement.
